Can gift cards be used for online orders?
Most merchants allow gift cards to be used for online purchases. There are, however, merchants which do not allow it. Generally, we include this information in the product description for each gift card on our site. Please contact the particular merchant for more details and for their terms and conditions.
Can gift cards and merchandise credits be combined with other rebates, coupons and in-store specials?
Yes. Gift cards are as good as cash by each particular merchant. Coupons, rebates, in store specials lower the price of the order. When it comes time to pay just swipe your gift card instead of your credit card or cash payment.
Do gift cards expire?
Most gift cards never expire. Due to governmental intervention most merchants removed any expiration date from their gift cards. In fact, in some states no gift cards may have an expiration date. To get more detailed information, contact the particular merchant or local government agencies.
Why are some of the gift card values odd numbers?
We are a secondary marketplace. We sell cards we receive from consumers who do not intend to use them and would rather redeem them for cash. Often consumers sell us cards they either partially used and have no interest to use the remaining balance or have received them for returned merchandise.
Does ABC stand behind and guarantee their cards?
Yes. ABC Gift Cards, is a long time trusted name in the gift card industry, and is accredited by the Better Business Bureau for its outstanding customer service. We extensively verify and validate every card we sell. If a card turns out to be a fraudulent card or if there is a balance discrepancy we will either replace the card or refund the purchase if a customer contacts us during our 45 Day Buyer Protection Period. Even after the 45 Day we will attempt to reach out to the original seller to seek reimbursement on behalf of the customer but cannot guaranty any reimbursement.
What are your hours of operation?
All of our locations are located in the NY-NJ area and operate during normal business hours EST Monday to Friday.
We do not process any orders over the weekend or on legal holidays. All orders placed over the weekend or on legal holidays will be shipped out on the next business day.
Purchasing Gift Cards
What qualifies a bulk buyer and what discounts are offered?
Purchases over $1,000 dollars qualify for our bulk discounted rate. The discount varies depending on the merchant and amount purchased but generally is an additional 2-3%. In order to receive the discounted price, contact the ABC bulk gift card department.
What method of payments do you accept?
We offer two methods of payments for gift card purchases. Credit Card and PayPal.
How do you ship the cards?
We offer two methods of delivery. USPS First Class Mail with delivery confirmation, and USPS Priority Mail for orders over $500.
How long does it take for the cards to arrive by mail?
All orders are generally processed and shipped within 24 hours. The actual delivery time varies upon your location. All cards are shipped either from our headquarters in East Windsor, NJ or from one of our other locations in the NY-NJ area. It can take 2-5 business days. To receive overnight expedited mail, contact our sales department and request it. Additional charges apply.
What are the shipping costs?
Shipping is always free.
I am sending the card I purchased as a gift and would like to ship it to a different address then my billing address. Can I do that?
Unfortunately not. Orders paid with PayPal can only be shipped to a PayPal Confirmed Address. Credit Card orders can only be shipped to the billing address listed on your credit card statement.
Do you offer email delivery?
For security reasons, new customers do not qualify for email delivery. In order to qualify for email delivery, you must be a customer in good standing for at least 30 days and pay using the same payment method as your previous order.
Gift cards that can be used for online purchases are available through our email delivery option. In the product description for each gift card we indicate whether the merchant accepts them online. Email delivery has the advantage of getting your card numbers faster. Card numbers that are emailed can be used to purchase items online.
Qualifying customers, can specify in the order comments section of their order that they would like to receive the card numbers emailed. The actual physical cards will be shipped to their billing address as well. ABC Gift Cards reserves the right, for security reasons, not to honor certain email delivery requests. Customers will be notified in such an event.
How long does email delivery take?
Email delivery eliminates the shipping time. However, it can take up to 24 hours for the order to be processed as is with regular orders shipped via USPS.
What is ABC's return policy?
Unlike other venues that declare all sales of gift cards to be final, ABC offers customers two options to return their cards. Customers who after receiving their order change their mind can take advantage of our “sell” and “trade” options. Unfortunately, full refunds are not available unless the card is invalid and is still within our 45 Day Buyer Protection Period.
Sell Page Questions
How much would you pay to buy my gift cards from me?
On our sell page we have listed the price for most of the cards we purchase. If you card is not listed, contact our sales team and we will be happy to assist you. We pay top dollar for your cards.
What do I have to do to sell you my cards?
Complete the online sell process, select your method of payment, and then mail your cards to the address provided on your confirmation page.
Once we receive your cards and validate them, we will issue your payment or email you your Amazon.com Gift Card, depending on your selection. The validation and issuance process are generally completed within 24 hours of receipt of your cards.
What security checks our performed?
ABC works closely with many merchants who assist us in validating and verifying all the cards we purchase. Additionally, ABC follows the strict guidelines recommended by national fraud investigating agencies to sift out any fraudulent sellers and cards.
If I select PayPal as a method of payment will my PayPal fees be reimbursed?
Yes. ABC automatically adds an additional 2.9% to your payment to reimburse PayPal fees charged to Personal Premier and Business PayPal accounts. If you have a regular personal account we suggest you upgrade to a PayPal Personal Premier account to avoid being charged additional fees.
How long does it take for me to receive my payment?
The validation and issuance process are generally completed within 24 hours of receipt of your cards. The delivery time-frame for customers who choose to receive payment by check varies based on their location. All checks are sent out from one of our NJ locations.
Trade Page Questions
How do I proceed with a trade?
Presently, ABC only offers trades for Amazon.com Gift Cards. A small transaction fee is charged for each trade. Customers also have the option to avoid paying the transaction fee to receive a lesser valued Amazon.com Gift Card. The latter option is available on our sell page.
Once you complete the process, the system will provide an address where to mail your gift cards.
Once we receive your cards and validate them, we will email you your Amazon.com Gift Card. The validation and issuance process are generally completed within 24 hours of receipt of your cards.
